Six Hours One Friday
Lent is upon us and on March 3rd, we will begin a Wednesday evening Lenten book study. Since I am leading this study, I thought I would use this month's Coop's Corner to shamelessly plug the class and encourage you to come out and join us.
The book we will be reading is Max Lucado's 'Six Hours One Friday' and is available at Berean Christian Bookstore. Let me share with you what the book jacket says:

I don't know about you, but I am really excited about this class. Max Lucado is a wonderful storyteller and theologian. We probably won't agree with everything he says (or with each other either, for that matter) - but that's half the fun. You don't have to attend every session to get some benefit from the class but it probably would be helpful to have read (or at least skimmed) the material we will cover before coming to class. However, don't worry if you didn't - come and we'll fill you in!
The class will be held the 5 Wednesdays beginning March 3rd from 7:30 p.m. till about 8:30 p.m. and will either be in the sanctuary or one of the Sunday School classrooms.
