Mothers with daughters and daughters with mothers, all descended upon the
Santa Teresa Hills Presbyterian Church for this years gala Mother /
Daughter Tea hosted by the Presbyterian Women. The Mistress of ceremonies
was Susan Cherny.
|
|
Kara Hinton started the entertainment with a beautiful piano rendition
of "Dance of the Irish",
DeLynn Coop recited "Somebody Said" and Rachel Buckley followed up with
"Minet E'cossaise". Mother and Daughter stories were shared and in the
space of these few hours mothers and daughters remembered once again the
special bond they share.

|
|
Megan DeJarnett gave another great piano piece - "Militaire"
(Opus 51), Tiffany Smith and Susan Cherny gave us "Songs Only a Mother
Could Love" and Gina Thomas recited a poem appropriately called
"Mommy Brain".
|
|
Cheryl and Monica Elliot played "In a Gentle Rain" on piano and flute
and Barb Overholt recited "My Mother Kept a Garden". Additionally, commemorative photos were taken and a prize draw of many delightful items took place.
